
Clara STEG has been a member of the Paris Bar since 2019.
She practices at WAN Avocats, in the business litigation team, where she is mainly involved in commercial litigation, corporate law and criminal law, both as counsel and in litigation, on complex cases with a national and international dimension.
Clara assists companies, managers and investors in the prevention and management of disputes relating to governance, restructuring, shareholder disputes, as well as contractual and tortious liability. She also intervenes in litigation related to unfair competition, abusive termination of commercial relations and directors' liability.
In particular, she has participated in the defense and advice of leading French and Belgian financial institutions in international litigation related to the fraud and bankruptcy of Bernard Madoff.
She also advises audiovisual companies, media groups and cultural industry players in merger transactions before the European Commission, as well as in disputes relating to unfair competition, defamation and wrongful termination of business relationships. Clara works in French, English and Spanish.
