The Tax Department of WAN Avocats assists companies, executives, and private clients with all tax-related matters—advisory, pre-litigation, and litigation—both in France and internationally.

Our team handles one-off assignments as well as ongoing support, particularly in the context of strategic transactions, complex reorganizations, compliance audits carried out ahead of tax inspections, and during or following tax audit procedures.

• corporate taxation (corporate income tax, VAT, transfer pricing, management fees, tax consolidation, optimization and compliance schemes, etc.);

• structuring and taxation of high-level corporate transactions and reorganizations (acquisitions, joint ventures, LBOs, OBOs, mergers, partial asset contributions, carve-outs), as well as tax support for private equity operations (SLP, FCP, FPS, FCPR, FPCI);

• real estate taxation (structuring real estate acquisitions and ownership, taxation of rental income—unfurnished, furnished, seasonal, or para-hotel—capital gains realized in France or abroad, real estate VAT, property dealers, development operations);

• taxation of intangible assets and intellectual property rights (patents, trademarks, software, domain names, know-how, copyright and image rights), including securing R&D and innovation financing regimes and structuring the ownership, licensing, or transfer of rights (valuation of rights and royalties, identification and management of associated tax risks).
